I want to let you folks know that all students in grades 3 through 5 have their own accounts on www.typing.com that I have created for them.  All children have their own unique username and password.  I encourage all students to log in and practice this important life skill whenever possible.  The Massachusetts State Learning Standards for Technology say that children in:

-  grade 3 need to be able to type 15 WPM (words per minute)

-  grade 4 need to be able to type 20 WPM (words per minute)

-  grade 5 need to be able to type 25 WPM (words per minute)

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions and if you’d like your child’s username and password.  My email address is: cgibbons@fallriverschools.org
