What We Do
We read books and talk about them. We also eat snacks.

Why We Do It
Too often, students fall out of love with reading in high school. But reading matters. It sustains our democracy. It fosters empathy. It keeps our minds sharp.

Most importantly, reading's fun as heck.

YA Book Club meets twice a month after school to keep a love of reading alive at Durfee. See Mr. Ostrow (in rm435) or Mrs. Malo (in Keeley Library) with questions.
