School Counseling Department Mission Statement
The mission of the School Counseling Department at Durfee High School is to support and empower the academic, personal/social and career development of all students. In collaboration with school, family, and community partners, school counselors will guide all students, regardless of disability, language acquisition needs, socio-economic status, ethnicity, or gender identification to become resilient, productive and contributing members of their community.
Financial Aid Night Information
B.M.C. Durfee High School’s Counseling Department proudly sponsors Financial Aid Nights. These events are open to students and families of all grade levels and include:
- School Counselors will speak to families about the senior college application process, and briefly go over what students should be doing at this point in their senior years.
- Representatives from our partner organizations, uApsire and Talent Search, will discuss their financial aid support services available to BMC Durfee High School students and families.
