Marketing

Program Overview:Real-life learning opportunities and projects provide students opportunities to  learn about business as it relates to their personal lives and the world around them. All marketing students will be eligible to compete in competitions though DECA, an internationally-acclaimed student organization that  provides well-planned activities that can be integrated into the curriculum and projects that promote occupational competence.

The Marketing Pathway provides you with hands on training for those of you whoare preparing for entry-level employment in business/marketing,  occupations & post-secondary business studies.

Topics Include:

• Marketing in areas such Sports & Entertainment, Fashion Merchandising, and Brand Design.
 
• Hands-on experience in a variety of real-world  marketing projects in a social media environment.
 
• Operating a school store and restaurant as well as creating marketing materials for other school-based initiatives.
 
• Activities aligned with internationally-acclaimed DECA competitions. • All Marketing students eligible to compete in competitions though DECA.
 
• Credit Articulation through Bristol Community College.

Business and Marketing Essentials (CP/Honors)

Marketing 2: Practical Experience through DECA Activities (CP/Honors)

School-based Enterprise: Operating School Store/Restaurant (CP/Honors)
