Transportation requests must be made annualy by families. To secure start-of-school-year transportation for returning students, requests must be made by August 15th. Following a request, families will be contacted prior to the start of the school year to confirm eligibility and to provide bus routes and approximate pickup/dropoff times to eligible students. Eligible students new to the district, or eligible students whose needs changed during the school year, may arrange for transportation throughout the school year.

Students on IEPs may have specialized transportation requirements which are not addressed by this policy. The accomodations made for transportation for a student on an IEP will take precedence, and will adhere to state regulations.

*Note that students are not eligible for transportation for school assignments that come as a result of in-district transfer requests.
