The after-school program at the Doran Community School provides students with meaningful opportunities to build confidence while participating in a wide range of enrichment activities. Programs such as the Multicultural Cookbook, Community Art Mural, Multicultural Celebrations, 3D Printing, Geography, Weather, and Futsal allow students to explore new interests and develop their creativity.
Alongside enrichment activities, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills and learn how to collaborate with peers through hands-on, project-based learning. The less formal setting of after-school hours encourages social growth, helping students connect, communicate, and build friendships.
As the year progresses, students’ growth becomes evident as they grow more confident, expressive, and engaged. Our dedicated staff fosters a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where every child feels included. With team members fluent in multiple languages, our English Language Learners feel welcomed, supported, and fully part of the community.
