Family and Community Engagement

Our vision is to empower families and encourage their active participation in supporting student learning. We aim to engage every family as a vital partner in their child's education, ensuring they gain valuable insights into the school system and affirming their crucial role in supporting student success and achievement.

• Capacity Building: We focus on enhancing families’ abilities to support their children’s education through resources, workshops, and support initiatives, including Family Academy nights, live webinars, Adult English classes, etc.
• Leadership: We support and encourage leadership among families, enabling them to actively participate in school communities and decision-making processes.
• Access: We work to remove barriers to family engagement, making it easier for all families to participate and contribute to their child’s education.
• Equity: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all families feel valued and have equal opportunities to engage and support their children’s learning.

• Building Trusting Relationships: We prioritize developing strong, trusting relationships between families and the school community. Open communication, mutual respect, and collaborative problem-solving are fundamental to these relationships, fostering an inclusive environment where every family’s voice is valued.
• Enhancing Family Engagement: We aim to increase family engagement through a variety of relevant, accessible, and enjoyable activities. Our offerings include workshops, adult English classes, cultural events, and family fun nights, creating a sense of belonging and shared purpose among families throughout the school year.
