PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The Fall River Public Schools offers half and full day preschool classrooms focused on the development of each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills through a developmentally appropriate, play-based program. Enrollment in our preschool classrooms follows a lottery system. For more information on our preschool lottery please click here.
Registration for the preschool lottery will run from January 2 through March 31. Applications received after March 31 will be placed on a wait list. Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 to be eligible for the preschool lottery. Please click on the link below to register for the lottery. Staff from the Early Childhood Office will be contacting registered families to schedule an appointment for a developmental screening beginning February 1. Final information on the lottery and school placements will be provided to families in early June. Please note while we make every effort to place children in their neighborhood school we are not able to guarantee a specific school or length of day.
2024-2025 Preschool Lottery Process
Information and screening information for students entered in the lottery was sent to families via email on April 1. If you entered in the lottery prior to March 31 and did not receive the email please check your spam/junk folder or call the Early Childhood Office at 508-675-8421 ext 55128
