West Nile Alert

DPH testing has revealed the presence of West Nile Virus in a mosquito pool in the Oak Grove Cemetery area. The area is being sprayed during the evening of September 8/9 to reduce the risk to the public.

At this time, families and students are advised to take appropriate precautions, particularly during the early evening to dawn hours when mosquitos are most active. Common precautions include long pants, long sleeves, and the use of mosquito repellent products. As Public Health officials release any new information to the public, this site will post updates with any new information to release to families.
