Vision
We at the Samuel Watson School believe that each student, given sufficient time and resources, will reach proficiency at their grade level. When students complete the 5th grade, they will have all the necessary skills to succeed in middle school.
- All students will meet or exceed state standards in all subject areas.
- All students will receive rigorous, standards-based instruction in all subject areas.
- All teachers will focus their instruction on high quality student work.
All students will experience a safe, fair and caring learning environment that fosters confidence and a feeling of belonging. Our children will acquire a sense of achievement and desire to be life-long learners.
Every student will study a challenging curriculum that applies their learning to everyday situations, thereby enhancing students’ social, emotional and ethical development and deepening their commitment to values and good citizenship.

The new school year begins on Thursday, September 4, 2008. School starts promptly at 8:15 AM and ends at 2:32 PM.
As the new principal, I am excited to meet all Watson School students and their families.
I will be waiting to welcome you on the first day. It should be an exciting and fun school year with may educational challenges for the students to experience.
