This year long course is based on a curriculum of intermediate art that focuses on graphic design principles in a computer environment. Introduction to industry standard computer applications will be focused on to complete projects in desktop publishing, website design and development, 3D modeling and animation, in conjunction with
illustration and painting.

The Commercial Art & Design course of study is based on a curriculum of intermediate and advanced art with a
concentration in Computer Graphic Design. Students will learn computer layout, 3D modeling and animation, and
website production using industry standard software. In conjunction with computer methods traditional skills will be
covered such as drawing, painting, illustration, and mural painting. The proper use of digital cameras, computer
scanners, and printers will also be taught
