Spencer Borden Elementary School

Grade 1 Dreambox 



Students across the District in grades K- 3 having been using the Dreambox Learning Math Program. Pictured above is a student in Mrs. Santoro's first grade class at Spencer Borden Elementary School using the Dreambox Program. Children use the computer lab twice a week practicing their technology skills in combination with learning math through the Dreambox curriculum. Students can also access Dreambox from home 24/7. School Vision

The vision of the Spencer Borden School is to work in conjunction with staff, students, parents, and the general community to produce healthy, caring, lifelong learners.  Students will become proficient readers and writers, acquire an appreciation for the arts and sciences, and develop confidence and a sense of belonging.  All students will be held to the same high standards and will graduate from grade five with proficient or better grade level skills in all major subjects, regardless of their academic level when entering kindergarten.  Students will be prepared to continue their education, without remediation, to become successful, respectful, tolerant, ethical, productive and contributing members of an ever-changing world.

Cookie Dough Sale began Monday, January 30 and will run through February 13.  Please help raise funds for Spencer Borden PTO activities. 

February 1: Report cards sent home for grades K - 4.

February 9: Parent Teacher Organization  Meeting from 5:30 - 6:30 P.M.

February 10: Valentine Social/Dance 

February 20 - 24: Winter Break ~ No School
