Course Description: Some of the major topics covered during this year long course include linear equations and functions, slope, linear inequalities, systems of equations, polynomials, factoring, quadratic functions, and radical and rational functions. A primary aim of the course will be the development of a variety of methods used to solve more complex algebraic equations. Students who elect this course should be prepared for a faster pace and a more rigorous workload. A graphing calculator is recommended.
Prerequisite: At least an 80 in the student’s previous math class.

Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry:
Course Description:This college prep elective course is a continuation of Algebra II. Topics of study include analyzing and applying the properties of functions, trigonometric functions and identities, and analytical geometry. A scientific calculator is required.
