Student Assignment

Elementary school student assignment letters will be mailed to most parents of  grade K-5 students starting on July 24, 2008. Certain groups of students may receive their assignment a little later as placement guidelines for certain special programs are reviewed. The assignments made may change slightly over the course of the summer based on enrollments in specific classes and programs.

Information regarding transportation services to all students who qualify will be mailed to the families of these students in mid-
August. This information will include bus stop assignments and time-lines.
Students on IEPs may have different transportation requirements which are not addressed by this transportation information.

The accommodations made for transportation for a student  on an IEP will take precedence.

Please note, community-based flyers must first be approved by the Superintendent of Schools.  In an effort to reduce paper and other resources, flyers are no longer sent home in backpacks but are e-mailed home to families and placed into our online backpacks which can be accessed at anytime. If your organization wishes to have their flyer added to our digital backpack, please e-mail a copy to rcaron@fallriverschools.org for Superintendent's approval.
