A Look at What is Happening In September ...

Wow, the Summer sure went by fast and now it is time to switch gears and get in the school frame of mind.  September is a very busy month in Room 111.  For the first few days, we will get to know each other and start to look at what exactly you remember from Math in 5th grade.  Then, we will take the entire rest of the month to visit Shapes and Angles (using the CMP book Shapes and Designs).  Our goal is that by the end of September, beginning of October, you will be able to measure an angle, classify polygons (like triangles and quadrilaterals) and calculate angle sum.
