Ms. Rotondo has been employed at Durfee as a guidance counselor since 2005.  Prior to Durfee, Ms. Rotondo taught English and worked as a guidance counselor at East Providence High School in Rhode Island.  She earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Rhode Island and a master's degree in Education/School Counseling from Rhode Island College.

                                GUIDANCE APPOINTMENTS   

 During this school year, each student will be scheduled for a sophomore guidance interview.  The purpose of this interview is to review academic progress, credits, rank in class, graduation requirements, grade point average, attendance and conduct. Career interests are discussed along with the introduction of the Massachusetts Career Information Systems web site which is a great resource for career exploration and educational planning.

A student may request a guidance appointment by signing the clipboard outside of my office.  I will schedule an appointment with the student as soon as possible. I am available to meet with students before and after school - no appointment necessary.
