Frozen Yogurt (also known by the nicknames Frogurt and Froyo), is a frozen dessert made with yogurt and other dairy products. It is more tart than ice cream, and is lower in fat due to the use of milk instead of cream.

Places like Yogurt City, Orange Leaf, and Pink Berry have become popular among many teenagers and adults, especially with the opening of Yogurt City in Fall River on President Avenue.

Something that really appeals to most people when it comes to places like Orange Leaf and Yogurt City are the self-serve sections. Once you decide what flavor you want, you fill up your cup to a desired amount and then are able to select from a variety of toppings including M&M's, sprinkles,  chocolate chips, oreo bits, and many more.

"I like Yogurt City because there are so many different toppings to choose from and all the flavors are so good; not to mention it's a pretty environment and the employees are all so nice," said senior Taina Cechinel.

"Frozen Yogurt is a sweet treat that gives you a good amount yet is also affordable," said senior Nicholas Cipriano.

yogurt all day, leaving absolutely no toppings left by the end of the evening.

"Although there were no toppings left, I was still satisfied with all the different flavors to choose from," said senior Sarah Soares.

This summer, Frozen Yogurt places should be booming with business. If you are ever in need of a frozen treat that is affordable and healthy, frozen yogurt is definitely the way to go!
