The boys' tennis team started the first few weeks of the season with a dismal 1-5 record. With the one victory over Taunton, the boys' team fell to some strong opponents, Somerset Dartmouth and Bishop Feehan. With a tough first half schedule, the team hopes for a more promising second half of the season.

Senior Mankit Chow is playing 1st singles with senior Andrew Ouellette backing him up playing 2nd singles.  Playing 3rd singles is junior Patrick Pacheco and holding down the 1st doubles team are seniors Andrew Baptiste and Ryan Nestor, mixing with Sophmore Tyler Anderson and Senior Alex Ried.

Key opponents that are vital to the tennis team's success include Brockton, New Bedford, Somerset and Conolly. Nestor has a “positive outlook for the remainder of the season and looking to finish strong.” He believes beating those four teams will solidify the season.

“The competition between the big 3 is pretty even, we have a good chance of taking home the Big 3 title if we put in the work,”  said Baptiste. The team's next match will be May 3 and all are encouraged to come cheer the team on.
