Durfee baseball needs some warming up

The Durfee Baseball team is currently 8-5 after a hot start of 6-0 with great offense and terrific defense. The bats for the Hilltoppers have slowed down, and a tough three-game losing streak to New Bedford, Brockton, and Coyle Cassidy has effected the teams confidence. But after prevailing over Diman and Taunton in their previous two games, the Hilltoppers are getting back on track.

When the team won two straight games, things started to look like they were back on track. But on Wednesday May 11 came around the corner Bishop Feehan came to Durfee and another rough day came around for the Hilltoppers. Only scoring one run and losing the game 7-1 due to key errors, the Hilltoppers just didn't look themselves when the bats were silenced by the Shamrocks.

However, on Friday, May 13, Durfee will be playing against Dartmouth High School. This is another chance to get back on track and become one game closer to making the playoffs.
