"Into The Woods" was a Disney fantasy musical that premiered on Christmas day.  It is a mash-up of the classic fairy tales Rapunzel, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood. All four stories were intertwined within one forest they all had to travel through.

It was an all-star cast featuring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick and Johnny Depp, all of which had their own catchy songs to sing along with.

The story was focused on a baker and his wife’s quest to have a child. A witch, that lived next door, had originally set a curse upon the baker's father for stealing the witch's beloved vegetables from her garden for his irritable pregnant wife. In order to reverse the curse, the witch, played by Meryl Streep, gave the baker and his wife a task to obtain a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and the slipper as pure as gold and they will have a child.

This task is how all the fairytales come together and create a larger than life story.

There were a few changes that were put into the movie, as there would be once Hollywood gets ahold of a script. What I enjoyed about the movie most was that the music stayed true to the classic tunes used in the original plays.

The graphics used in the film were exceptional and believable. I would rate this movie four stars out of five. Overall, the movie was a success and captured my attention from beginning to end. It is definitely worth a watch!
