The PTO wants to do a Valentine’s Day Dance. They are selling envelopes with tickets to the dance. Every envelope has 3 tickets in it. Every envelope costs $24.00.
Students can take one entry ballot and solve the problems on the ballot during their recess or quiet time in school. A bonus challenge is doing all three grade’s entries. All entries must be placed in their grade level envelopes on the bulletin board by Friday Jan 23, 2015. Prizes will be awarded the following week to one boy and one girl in each grade level out of all the correct responses submitted. Have fun using the skills you have learned so solve these problems!
