Academic Success can only be achieved through consistent school attendance.
Look at what's going on at Greene school!
Students in Mrs. McCarthy's 5th grade class worked on their projects.
Mid-Novel Product: The assignment was to time travel back to the 1930's. Cell phone, video-games and computers have not been invented yet. As a traveler with no money and no home, what are the ten most important items they will take with them to travel across Michigan. They can only take one extra set of clothing in their suitcase as they are portraying an orphan on the run.
This is what they learned:
In Mrs. McCarthy's class students learned about the plot diagram. This literature diagram helps students analyze novels. The plot diagram organizes events in a novel starting with the very beginning , the rising actions leading to the climax (or the big shocker within the novel). Then the events leading to the solution (otherwise known as the falling action, or resolution in the book). A plot diagram is a very useful tool when analyzing a book.
Great Job to all the students!
