LOOK AT WHAT'S GOING ON IN GREENE SCHOOL

Students in Mrs. Cabral's first grade are bringing spring into their classroom with some caterpillars and butterflies!
The students read  " I am a Caterpillar" a literary non-fiction text depicting the lifecycle of the butterfly.
They were then assigned a writing prompt stating their opinion on who they thought works harder, the caterpillar or the butterfly.
They needed to base their opinions on facts grounded in the text. Looks like the caterpillars have won as hardest-working!
Also, FYI, the whole 1st grade will be planting seeds on Thursday, as a hands-on follow up to a Frog and Toad story.
